58 Gallery hosted Dylan Egon’s new solo show on 58 Coles st. Jersey City, on Friday June 5th. It was in conjunction with the JC Fridays, a quarterly event ran by Art House Productions. The evening was full of great music in several venues The Grands Banks Restaurant, Grove St PATH station and 58 itself, with a totally of 9 bands, each doing about an hour set. Although I went and saw many of the bands, as well as artists’ studios though out the day I only documented 58′s show.

New York Academy of Art, Summer Exhibition

I went to a salon styled show at NYAA on Tuesday night. It was the 3rd annual summer exhibition. I only saw the one last year online, and I had work in the first one, two years ago.

I felt over all it was hung very well for the amount of work that was accepted, however struck me as a bit full on the 2 walls that had smaller works. The work was very strong and I was made me proud to be an alumnus from that program.
